On June 16, 2012 I had the great privilege to travel to Barrie, Ontario for Sabrina and Benn’s beautiful lakeside wedding. I drove up the night before and braved the insane weekend traffic of people heading to the cottage…a new experience for the small town girl! Another big event was spending my first night child-free in 4 years. But back to the wedding… 🙂
Sabrina and her bridesmaids were treated like queens as they got hair and makeup done at Envision Hair Studio. You could not tell that these beautiful women were up till all hours ironing, gluing and making bouquets.
Back at the house, Sabina donned her gorgeous gown in the sweltering heat and the hand-held fan made an appearance and then disappeared….under her dress!

Sabrina travelled by horse and carriage to Barrie’s South Shore Centre for the ceremony.

I was impressed with how quickly the guys were able to get ready…after they got around to it! 🙂
Large windows overlooking the lake created a beautiful backdrop for the moment they said their “I do”s.
We then headed out to the lake to capture some images of the two of them.
The starry cake was masterfully created by Cakes by Design.
Much joy and laughter ensued as friends and family shared their love for Sabina and Benn.
With a touching moment between father and daughter as a special slideshow was played.
